Charles R. Clower, Sr., age 74 of Snellville, died Monday, July 30, 2007. Memorial Services will be held 4:00 PM, Saturday, August 4, 2007 in the Snellville Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home. Pastor Sandy Adams will officiate. Mr. Clower was the grandson of James Sawyer (Co-founder of Snellville, Georgia). He was of the Methodist faith, a Navy Veteran of the Korean Conflict, southeastern sales representative for 14 years with Whirlpool before becoming Senior Partner with Assets Inc., a Gwinnett based appraisal firm. He also enjoyed playing golf. Mr. Clower was preceded in death by his parents, Henry & Hazel Clower, brother, Henry B. Clower, Jr., and sister, Wynelle Hiter. Mr. Clower is survived by: Wife: Sue Clower, Snellville; Son & Daughter-in-law: Charles R. & Trudy Clower, Jr., Duluth; Son: Michael R. Clower, Snellville; Brothers: Jim R. Clower, Sr., Grayson, David M. Clower, Snellville; Sister: Maxine Garner, Lilburn; Granddaughter: Brittany Clower; Several Nieces & Nephews. Family will receive friends from 2-4 PM Saturday, August 4, 2007 at the Tim Stewart Funeral Home, 2246 Wisteria Drive, Snellville, Georgia 30078, 770-979-5010.
