Black - Merritt
Sarah Elizabeth Black and Andrew Wayne Merritt were married April 14 at Heaven's View Baptist Church. The Rev. Keith Truelove officiated the ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Kerry Black of Fairburn and Beverly Black of Buford. The groom is the son of Ricky Merritt and Annette Byrd. Angela McCloud served as the bride's maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Candida Weddle, Vera Holt and Jessica Moore. Erinn Weddle and Nicole Black served as flower girls. Rusty Sorrows served as the groom's best man. Groomsmen were Freddy Black, Shannon Moore and Jeff McKenzie. Kyle Sorrows and Nick Black served as ring bearers. 50th anniversary Randall and Mary Jean Stephens of Buford recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. They were married on April 14, 1957, at the First Baptist Church in Lawrenceville. The couple celebrated with a drop-in reception, hosted by their children and grandchildren at the Old Suwanee Baptist Church Fellowship Hall. The Stephenses were surrounded by their three children and spouses: Don and Merri Beth Stephens, Scott and Wendy Stephens and Jill Stephens. They were also with their two grandchildren: Katie and Courtney Stephens. Randall and Mary Jean are both retired.More like this story
