Mr. Emory Milford Allen, age 83, of Buford, GA, and the Hog Mountain Community, passed away on Tuesday, April 24, 2007. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Viola Dunaway Allen. He is survived by his: Son and Daughter-in-Law: Ronnie and Karen Allen, Buford, GA; Grandchildren: Rhonda and Darrin Dupree, Buford, GA, Wesley and Tina Allen, Buford, GA; Daughter-in-Law: Sheila and Nolan Wallace, Buford, GA; Great Grandchildren: Shealee Dupree, Ali Dupree; Brother and Sister-in-Law: L. C. and Lenora Allen, Panama City, FL; Sisters and Brothers-in-Law: Dot Pirkle, Buford, GA, Ruth and Douglas Brown, Lawrenceville, GA, Gladys and Leon Kimbro, Buford, GA; Several Nieces, Nephews and Cousins. Mr. Allen was born December 21, 1923 in Gwinnett County, GA. He was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Army. He retired from General Motors Assembly Plant in Doraville, GA after 30 years of service and was a member of the U.A.W. Local 10. He was of the Baptist Faith. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 26, 2007 at 3:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. E. Nain Brady officiating. Interment will follow in Hog Mountain Baptist Church Cemetery, Dacula, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. Arrangements by Junior E.
