NORCROSS - Police have identified the 38-year-old man who died Friday in a two-vehicle accident at Jimmy Carter Boulevard and Best Friend Road.
Abraham Aboagye of Duluth died early Friday morning when the car he was driving eastbound on Jimmy Carter Boulevard collided at 5:48 a.m. with a tractor-trailer turning left onto Best Friend Road, police said. The preliminary investigation indicates Aboagye ran the red light at the intersection, with the tractor-trailer driven by Cecil Marshall, 35, of Snellville, said Cpl. Darren Moloney, Gwinnett County Police Department spokesman. Aboagye was wearing a seat belt and was the sole occupant of the car. There is no indication that alcohol or drugs were contributing factors in the crash, Moloney said.More like this story
