LAWRENCEVILLE - Gwinnett County police have arrested a man and woman in Norcross on prostitution charges, the second arrest in connection with an alleged prostitution house in the city this month.
Sergio Alcantar-Lopez, 28, was charged with pimping and keeping a place of prostitution at 3233-B Quails Lake Village Lane, the arrest warrant said. Wilda Mariella Garcia-Javier, 23, was charged with prostitution. Alcantar-Lopez provided a prostitute to an undercover detective and received $160 in exchange for sexual intercourse, the warrant said. The apartment is in the Crescent Lake complex off Jimmy Carter Boulevard. Last week, the Gwinnett County Police Department busted an alleged prostitution house off Beaver Ruin Road that employed illegal immigrants. Five illegal immigrants were arrested in the bust. Alcantar-Lopez was also charged with forgery for having a counterfeit California driver's license in the name of Norma Guillen, the warrant said.More like this story
