Carter - Wade

Terry and Linda Carter of Monroe announce the engagement of their daughter, Jenna Kathleen Carter of Kennesaw, to Mark Clayton Wade of Monroe, son of Dan and Carol Wade of Grayson.

The bride-elect is a 2003 graduate of South Gwinnett High School. She plans to graduate this year from Kennesaw State University with a bachelor's degree in social science education.

The future groom is a 2003 graduate of South Gwinnett High School. He is employed by the Gwinnett County Fire Department as a firefighter.

The wedding is planned for May 25 at the Monroe First United Methodist Church.

Headrick - Wilkerson

Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Headrick of Dalton announce the engagement of their daughter, Abigail Susan Headrick of Lawrenceville, to Jeffrey Scott Wilkerson of Duluth, son of Mr. and Mrs. David Wilkerson of Dalton.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Long of Dalton and the late Mr. and Mrs. Gene Headrick. She is a graduate of the University of Georgia, where she received a bachelor's degree in public relations. She is employed by Redpepper Advertising Agency in Lawrenceville as a public relations specialist.

The future groom is the grandson of William B. Herndon of North Augusta, S.C., and the late Mrs. William Herndon, and Mrs. George Wilkerson of Signal Mountain, Tenn., and the late George Wilkerson Jr. He is a graduate of Auburn University, where he received a bachelor's degree in civil engineering. He is employed by Kimley-Horn and Associates in Norcross.

The wedding is planned for April 28 at the First Presbyterian Church in Dalton.

Crews - Duncan

Eddie and Brenda Crews of Brunswick announce the engagement of their daughter, Haley Renee Crews of Panama City Beach, Fla., to David Scott Duncan of Panama City Beach, Fla., son of Ken and Linda Duncan of Buford.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Herbert and Kathleen Carroll of Brunswick, Nellie Crews of Brunswick and the late Lymon Crews. She is a graduate of Frederica Academy on St. Simons Island. She is a graduate of Valdosta State University, where she received a bachelor's degree in biology. She is employed by the State of Florida Environmental Protection Agency as an environmental specialist in Panama City Beach, Fla.

The future groom is the grandson of David and Bernice Tucker of Moultrie, Hazel Duncan of Moultrie and the late Wallace Duncan. He is a graduate of Lee County High School in Leesburg. He is a graduate of Valdosta State University, where he received a bachelor's degree in marketing. He is employed by Progressive Insurance Co. as a special lines claims representative in Panama City Beach, Fla.

The wedding is planned for May 5 at the Crane Cottage at Jekyll Club Hotel on Jekyll Island.

Swanson - Roberts

David and Sherry Swanson of Hoschton announce the engagement of their daughter, Nicole Lee Swanson of Hoschton, to Michael Roberts of Watkinsville, son of Etta Roberts of Watkinsville.

The future groom is a 1999 graduate of Oconee County High School. He is employed by Pike Electric as a boom lift inspector.
