Lucy McGuire, age 83, of Buford, died Tuesday, April 10, 2007. Funeral service will be held 1 P.M. Friday, April 13 in the Chapel of Tapp/Tim Stewart Funeral Home with Rev. Lamar Hansard officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery, Buford. Mrs. McGuire is preceded in death by his mother, Tib Scott; brother, Frank Scott and infant daughter, Molly Faye McGuire. Lucy is survived by her husband of 43 years, Ronald; Sons and Daughters-in-law, Rondell “Dink” Browning and Theresa Brown of Charlotte, NC, Runelle and Duane Edmisten of Carnesville, GA; Son, Tommy McGuire of Buford; Grandchildren, Tod and Gloria Edmisten of Carnesville, Shane and Dusty Edmisten of Jefferson, Jady Edmisten of Carnesville, Jody and Paul Taylor of Clover, SC; Great Grandchildren, Katelyn and McKenzie Edmisten. Mrs. McGuire formerly owned the Corner Cafe Restaurant, attended Buford Church of God, and was homemaker for several years. The family will receive friends Thursday, April 12 from 2-4 and 6-9 P.M. and Friday, April 13 from 9 A.M. to the time of service at Tapp/Tim Stewart Funeral Home and Crematory, 201 Morningside Drive, Buford, Georgia 30518, 770-945-9345.
