Mrs. Georgianna “Skip” Brandt, age 80, of Buford, GA, passed away on April 4, 2007. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Edward Brandt, Sr.; father, Uriah Vankleeck; mother, Miriam Gardner Vankleeck; brother, Robert Vankleeck; and sister, Gloria Loeffer. Surviving are: Son and Daughter-in-Law: Walter and Darlene Brandt, Buford, GA; Grandchildren: Lisa and Jeff Taylor, Buford, GA, Sue and Jeff Cowan, Hoschton, GA; Great Grandchildren: Madison Taylor, Emily Cowan; Brother and Sister-in-Law: Clifford and Rhoda Vankleeck, Sawkill, NY; Sister: Betty Ferraro, Port Ewen, NY; Several Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins. Mrs. Brandt was born on December 7, 1926 in New York. She was a retired telephone operator and was of the Baptist Faith. She lived in Kingston, New York for 60 years and in Gainesville, GA for several years. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 7, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens, Buford, GA with Rev. Gerry Davis officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 12:00 Noon - 12:30 p.m. Arrangements by Junior E.
