Clerk, customer run from man with gun
•TUCKER - A gas station clerk and customer may have stopped a man from robbing the Tucker Shell station Monday.
After helping the customer with a propane tank exchange outside, the clerk and the customer walked into the store and found a black man standing at the counter pointing a gun at them and demanding money, a police report said.
The men ran out of the 2960 Mountain Industrial Blvd. store to a call 911. When they returned nothing seemed to be missing from the store.
Man robs dry cleaners
•SUGAR HILL - The owner of the Star Cleaners at 429 Buford Highway said a man robbed her store Monday afternoon.
The owner said a black man came into her store asking about having some clothing altered, according to a police report.
The man returned later, pulled out a gun and demanded the owner hand over money from the register.
The man fled with about $130.
Trio of armed men rob gas station
•LILBURN - A Shell gas station clerk and three customers said three men robbed the store Monday morning and took money from the customers as well.
According to a police report, three armed black men entered the store demanding money from the store safe then turned the guns on customers, asking for their money and cell phones.
The clerk of the store at 915 Indian Trail Lilburn Road said the men took more than $4,000 from the safe and nearly $500 from his wallet.
The man took a total of $400 from customers and one cell phone.
