Justin Timberlake to play Arena

DULUTH - Justin Timberlake is bringing sexy back, literally.

The pop superstar and former 'N Sync heartthrob announced Wednesday that he's adding a second leg to his FutureSex/LoveShow world tour. The second part of the tour will kick off in Timberlake's hometown of Memphis on Aug. 2, and will wind its way to the Arena at Gwinnett Center on Aug. 7.

"We are extremely excited that he is stopping here," said Chris Hendley, marketing and media manager for the arena. "When he was in Atlanta last time, I heard through the grapevine that it was just an unbelievable show. He's coming back by popular demand."

As of press time, ticket sale dates and prices had not been announced, but will be coming soon.

"This thing is literally coming together as we speak," Hendley said.

The first leg of the tour ended March 29 in New Jersey, and Timberlake will embark on his European tour April 24 in Belfast, Ireland. Timberlake's album "FutureSex/LoveSounds," which includes the smash hit "Sexy Back," debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard charts and has sold more than a million copies to date.

The Arena at Gwinnett Center is located at 6400 Sugarloaf Parkway in Duluth. Visit www.gwinnettcenter.com for more information.
