Betty G. Keene, age 72 of Braselton, died Wednesday, September 27, 2006. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, September 30, 2006, in the Lawrenceville Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home. Dr. Mike Phillips will officiate. Burial Gwinnett Memorial Park, Lawrenceville. Mrs. Keene was a retired Principal with Dacula, Five Forks & Trickum Middle Schools and a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Braselton. She was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Rhea Keene. She is survived by Children: Victor & Karen Keene, Luthersville, Gail & David Burleson, Duluth; Brother & Sister-in-law: Lynn & Nancy Forehand, Wetumpka, AL; 3 grandchildren & several nieces & nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: American Cancer Society, Gwinnett County Unit, 6500 Sugarloaf Parkway, Suite 260, Duluth, Georgia 30097. The Family will receive friends from 4 - 9 PM Friday, September 29, 2006 at Tim Stewart Funeral Home, 300 Simonton Road, Lawrenceville, GA 30045, 770-962-3100.
