Man found dead at Duluth apartment complex April 19, 2014

The Rev. Mr. John L. Latta, age 74 of Dacula, GA, passed away on September 24, 2006. He is survived by his wife of 28 years Barb Latta Other survivors include: Their Children: Laura & Chuck Whipkey, Washington, PA; Deborah Anderson, Dacula; Karen Angelico, South Borough, MA; Leslie Bergman, Grayson & Scott Latta, Houston, PA Brother & Sister-in Law: William C. & Nancy Latta, Jr., Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada; Sisters-in-Law: Doris Latta, Greer, SC & Carol Adamski, Apache Junction, AZ; 8 Grandchildren, 1 Great Grandchild and Several Nieces & Nephews He was preceded in death by his brother Bruce Latta. Rev. Mr. Latta served the following Presbyterian churches: McDonald, PA while still in Seminary; started a church in Zanesville, OH, thru Board of Missions, Highlands Presbyterian Church; Ingram United Presbyterian Church, Ingram, PA; North Hills United Presbyterian Church, Westview, PA; Old Union Presbyterian Church, Mars, PA; Interim Pastor at Nelsonville Presbyterian Church, Nelsonville, OH; Parish Associate at Fairview Presbyterian Church, Lawrenceville, GA; Interim Pastor at Friendship Presbyterian Church, Concord, GA and Parish Associate at Lawrenceville Presbyterian Church, Lawrenceville, GA for the last 5 years. Memorial services will be held Wednesday, September 27, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. at Lawrenceville Presbyterian Church with Rev. Earl Bland officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the church.
