Police searching for credit card theft suspects

DULUTH - Police are looking for three suspects in connection with the theft of multiple credit cards reported stolen from a purse on Aug. 14.

A Lilburn woman reported activity on the cards the same day her purse was reported stolen from her 2006 Honda Accord, which was parked at a fitness center on Pleasant Hill Road, said Cpl. Darren Moloney, spokesman for the Gwinnett County Police Department.

All of the transactions occurred at stores within Gwinnett Place Mall.

The suspects are also believed to be responsible for stealing the purse from the vehicle, Moloney said in a press release.

Images of the suspects were taken by store security cameras and given to police after the incidents, but police have not been able to identify any of the men.

"We don't know who they are," Moloney said.

All three men are believed to be in their early 20s. One has a dollar sign tattoo on his right hand above the word MOB, and another is described as having two gold teeth.

The department is asking for the public's help in identifying the suspects.

As for the auto break-in, no information was available as to whether the Accord was unlocked at the time of the theft or whether entry was forced.

If you have any information about any of the suspects, including their names and whereabouts, please contact the GCPD at 770-513-5210.
