Masked man robs Chevron
LAWRENCEVILLE - A masked man on Tuesday robbed the Rain Forest Chevron at 2520 Old Norcross Road. A clerk told police that the suspect entered the store at 2:18 a.m. wearing all black clothing, black gloves and a black ski mask. He held something, possibly a weapon, in his left hand, according to a police report. The robber shoved a plastic grocery bag toward the clerk and told him to place the money inside it. The suspect fled on foot with about $450. He is described as a light-skinned black or Hispanic man, approximately 170 pounds and 5 feet 10 inches tall. Men rob Shell with brick NORCROSS - A pair of unidentified men on Monday robbed the Shell gas station at 5476 Jimmy Carter Boulevard. The suspects reportedly entered the store at 11:30 p.m. and threatened the clerk with a brick, demanding money. They left with about $100, and were last seen heading toward the rear of the parking lot, according to a police report. Three $5 bills were found on the ground nearby.
