Christopher Louis Gay, 23, died Sunday, September 10, 2006. Born in South Bend, IN, he was the son of Edward Louis Gay and Ruth Ann Gay. He had attended Hebron Baptist Church where he was recently baptized. Chris was a loving father, son and brother that will be deeply missed by his family and friends. He lived life to the fullest and never turned his back on anyone. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his daughter, Meia Marie Conley of New Carlisle, IN, brother, Josh Daniel Blanco of South Bend, IN, sisters; Sarah Ann Dillon of South Bend, IN, Jessica Lynn Gay of Atlanta, GA, and paternal grandparents, William R. and Edna Fitzgerald. Mrs. Gay Clark Blount, age 67, of Buford, GA, the Ivy Creek Community, passed away suddenly on September 11, 2006 from an Aneurysm. She was preceded in death by her father, Lane David Clark; son-in-law, Kim Holman; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Clarence P. and Rosalee Brown Blount. Mrs. Blount was born in Forsyth County, GA on August 8, 1939. She was a 1957 graduate of Forsyth County High School. She was a hairdresser for over 30 years and owned Gay's Beauty Shop. She was a member of Ivy Creek Baptist Church in Buford, GA. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, daughter and sister. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 14, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Dr. Jim Ferguson and Rev. Dee Dillon officiating. Okla H. Boles, Jr., 82, of Duluth, died September 11, 2006. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Thursday, September 14, 2006 at The Duluth First Baptist Church with Rev. Larry E. Stone, age 56 of Oakwood, GA, passed away on September 10, 2006, after a brave battle of recuperating from an auto accident. A beloved father, son, and brother, Larry is survived by only son Chad, sisters Barbara Reinhardt of Laurinburg, NC and Becky Lowery of McColl, SC. He is also survived by his father, Irvin Stone and stepmother Eula Mae of McColl, SC. Larry was also a beloved uncle to Jennifer McKenzie of Laurinburg, NC, Courtney, Jonathan, and Deanna Lowery of McColl, SC. Through the years, Larry followed his dream and passion of being an educator and earned a Bachelors Degree from East Tennessee State University, Masters Degree from Oglethorpe University and a PhD from Indiana University. For many years he taught school in NC and GA and eventually was promoted to principal of several different Gwinnett County Schools. Through his career he enjoyed great success in every school he was a part of but his greatest joy was being involved with his students and seeing them grow and learn. Larry enjoyed his personal time working out and running and ran in the Peachtree Road Race eight times. He loved his church, Free Chapel of Gainesville, GA and spending time with friends there. Larry was a true inspiration to "his kids" in school and family and will be deeply missed. A celebration of Larry's life will be held Thursday, September 14, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. at Wages Lawrenceville Chapel with Rev. Ron Westbury officiating.
