COBB, CHARLES T.

Charlie Cobb, 62, of Social Circle, GA, passed away September 8, 2006 after a brave battle against brain cancer. A beloved husband, father, and grandfather, Charlie is survived by his wife Becky; his son Christopher and wife Jennifer of Lawrenceville; his daughter Melissa of Lawrenceville; his son Clinton and wife Susanna of Lilburn, and his son Cameron and wife Erin of Bluffton, SC.; his grandchildren Cadie, Bryan, Cailin, Caroline, Charlie, and Jack. Also survived by his mother Winifred; brother Ronald, and sister Carlene of Tampa, FL; his mother-in-law Juanita Hollingsworth of Blairsville, GA; and a host of other relatives and friends. Through the years, Charlie was extremely successful in his role as Senior Vice President of U.S. Operations at Lanier Worldwide, but his deepest joy was spending time with Becky and his children, and watching the grandchildren grow. Since 2001, Charlie has enjoyed his retirement by riding his Harley, traveling, showing horses, and spending time with life-long friends. Charlie was an inspiration to all those who knew him, and will be deeply missed. The Memorial Service for Charlie will be held on Tuesday, September 12, 2006, at 1 p.m. at the Gwinnett Chapel of Wages & Sons Funeral Home with Dr. Jack Hopson officiating. Mr. William Carter Green, Jr., age 54, of Winder, GA passed away on Friday, September 8, 2006. He was preceded in death by his father, Mr. William Carter Green, Sr. and brother, Grady Green. He is survived by his: Mother: Ethel Mae Green, Winder, GA; Son: Kevin Green, Winder, GA; Daughter: Katrina Green, Winder, GA; 2 Grandchildren; Brothers: David Green, Auburn, GA, Billy Green, Winder, GA; Sisters: Sue Scruggs, Auburn, GA, Ann Gazaway, Winder, GA; Common Law Wife: Patty Marlene Gilder, Winder, GA; Several Nieces, Nephews and Cousins. Mr. Green was born in Fulton County, GA on December 12, 1951. He was a backhoe operator for ANSCO Associates. He was of the Baptist Faith. Graveside service and interment will be held on Sunday, September 10, 2006 at 3:00 p.m. at Warsaw Cemetery, Duluth, GA with Rev. Larry Youngblood officiating.
