Kyle W. Copija, age 16, of Auburn, GA, passed away on September 4, 2006. Surviving are: Parents: Karen and Richard DeLany, Auburn, GA; Sister: Ashley DeLany, Auburn, GA; Grandmother: Sally Copija, Buford, GA; Grandparents: Ann and Bobby McLendon, Lawrenceville, GA; Great Grandmother: Lena Kennon, St. Simons Island, GA; Aunts and Uncles: Tracy and Al Copija, Sugar Hill, GA, Ken Copija, Torrington, CT, Matt and Terry Copija, Melbourne, FL, Kathy Copija, Buford, GA; Several cousins. Kyle was born on December 20, 1989 in DeKalb County, GA. He was a student at Apalachee School in Barrow County, GA. He was a member of Troup No. 56 of the Boy Scouts of America. He played baseball. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Lawrenceville. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 9, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Davis Chappell officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday evening from 7:00-9:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First United Methodist Church in Lawrenceville in memory of Kyle Copija.
