DULUTH - The Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce is the 2006 recipient of the American Chamber of Commerce Executives' Grand Award for Communications Excellence - the nation's top communications award in the chamber industry.
The Gwinnett Chamber received one of only five Grand Awards out of more than 140 entries this year. The ACE Grand Award was presented to the Gwinnett Chamber's Vice President of Communications and Business Resources Demming Bass for the organization's "Right Now" video at ACCE Convention 2006: The Chamber Meeting of Choice, held Aug. 16 to 19 in Cleveland, Ohio. The video was produced by Gwinnett Chairman's Club Member NightGlass Media Group in Duluth. "The award really goes to NightGlass for their excellent work and our membership whose efforts, enthusiasm, and dedication helped the Chamber achieve all the accomplishments we highlighted in the video," Bass said. The Awards for Communication Excellence is an annual competition that recognizes excellence in all areas of communications. This year's ACE competition drew 141 entries from more than 124 chambers throughout the country.More like this story
