Man robbed of $250, beaten by three suspects
NORCROSS - A man was robbed a the Saddlebrook Apartments in Norcross on Friday. According to a Gwinnett County police report, the victim said he was in the parking lot of the apartments, smoking a cigarette, when three men dressed in black sweatshirts and blue jeans approached him and asked for him to light their cigarettes. When the victim produced his lighter, one of the men pulled out a silver and black handgun and demanded the victim's money. The other two men searched the victim's pockets and took $250 and a set of car keys from the victim, pushed him to the ground and began punching and kicking him in the head and chest. The victim's injuries were not life-threatening. The suspects fled in a vehicle. Police are still investigating. Man attempts to rob pharmacy SNELLVILLE - A man attempted to rob a Snellville Kroger pharmacy Friday night. According to a Gwinnett County police report, the victim working the pharmacy said a man handed her a note explaining he was very sick and that he needed hydrocodone and Xanax and would shoot everyone if he did not get the medicine. The victim told police she never saw the man with a weapon and that he left when the victim started to back away from the pharmacy counter.
