Officials say fires arson, unrelated
LAWRENCEVILLE - Fire officials are investigating a two-story condo fire they believe to be arson. The fire broke out Monday morning at a condo on Vintage Pointe Court in Lawrenceville. Firefighters arrived on the scene where they found smoke coming from the building. The fire was contained to a single room within the unit. No one was at home during the blaze and no injuries were reported. Fire officials are still investigating the exact cause of the fire. Also on Monday, firefighters arrived at a townhouse on Sweet Pine Drive in Norcross to find light smoke coming from the home. The fire caused moderate damage to a single room within the home and the fire was contained to the single townhome. No injuries were reported and fire officials are still investigating the cause of the fire. Arson is suspected, but the fire is not considered related to the Village Point blaze.More like this story
