DULUTH - Christina Aguilera is back, cleaned up and more glamorous than before with her latest album "Back to Basics," and fans can catch her at the Arena at Gwinnett Center in May.
The pop diva will sing at the Duluth venue on May 2. The multiple Grammy-award winning singer promises her latest, star-studded tour will be the most elaborate she's ever put on - The Pussycat Dolls and Danity Kane will open, and fashion designer Roberto Cavalli will design costumes for the show. Tickets are on sale now.
The arena also recently announced that Chicago-based hard-rock band Disturbed will play the venue along with Stone Sour, Flyleaf and Nonpoint as part of the Music As a Weapon Tour, set for 7 p.m. Nov. 29. Disturbed is touring to promote "Ten Thousand Fists," the band's first album released since 2002's Billboard No. 1 hit "Believe." Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. this Saturday.
Another recently announced arena show is Star 94's Jingle Jam, scheduled for 7 p.m. Dec. 9. Tickets for this event, featuring the Goo Goo Dolls, The Fray, Hinder and KT Tunstall, range from $35 to $50 and are on sale now.
