Noonan - Black

Jack Noonan of Winder and Brenda Noonan of Commerce announce the engagement of their daughter, Sarah Arleen Noonan of Commerce, to Jason Allen Black of Commerce, son of Douglas and Joann Black of Buford.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Charles and Thelma Wright and the late James Patrick and Arleen Noonan of Ohio. She is a 2002 graduate of Winder-Barrow High School and a 2005 graduate of Gordon College, where she received an associate's degree in radiological technology. She is employed by St. Mary's Hospital in Athens.

The future groom is the grandson of Betty Riddle of Bonita Springs, Fla. and Sue Hayes of Las Cruces, N.M. He is a 2002 graduate of Dacula High School. He is employed by the City of Commerce Police Department.

The wedding is planned for Saturday at the Staghorn Plantation in Nicholson.

Minyard - Hall

Gary Minyard and Angeli Long and Larry Long, all of Duluth, announce the engagement of their daughter, Jessica Ann Minyard of Duluth, to Brannon Hall of Lawrenceville, son of Delford and Wanda Hall of Pendergrass.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Larry and Clarence Minyard of Sierra Vista, Ariz. She is a graduate of Buena Vista High School in Sierra Vista, Ariz. She is employed by Page Insurance Co. in Chamblee as an administrative assistant.

The future groom is a graduate of Dacula High School. He is employed by Blockbuster in Braselton as a manager.

The wedding is planned for Dec. 2 at the Carl House in Auburn.

Payne - Allen

Carol and James Payne of Rome announce the engagement of their daughter, Sarah Margaret Payne of Rome, to Samuel Wells Allen of Canton, son of Richard and Carolyn Allen of Sandy Springs, formerly of Lawrenceville.

The bride-elect is a graduate of Reinhardt College and is attending graduate school at West Georgia State College and University, where she is pursuing a degree in speech pathology.

The future groom is a graduate of Reinhardt College, where he received a master's degree in sports administration. He is employed by Reinhardt College as an assistant coach in men's basketball.

The wedding is planned for April 28 in Cave Springs.
