Margie R. Thomas, age 71, of Buford, GA, died suddenly, Monday, October 2, 2006. Funeral service will be held Thursday, October 5, 2006 at 1:00 PM at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Rev. Carey Hudson will officiate. Interment will follow in Hamilton Mill Memorial Gardens, Buford. The Family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 4, 2006 from 2-4 and 6-8:30 PM at the funeral home. Mrs. Thomas was preceded in death by her son, David Bell. Surviving are: Husband, Steve Thomas, Buford; Sons and Daughters-in-Law: Jeff and Lee-Lee Bell, Buford, Mark and Sonya Thomas, Gainesville; Daughter and Son-in-Law: Regina and Sgt. Alex McCullough, Colorado Springs, CO; Grandchildren: Lee and Lois Bell, Nichole Bell, Zachary Bell, Tabatha Bell, Andi Bell, Alyssa Bell, Lauren Bell, Michel Thomas, Jessica Thomas, William Pike, Joshua Power, Andrew McCullough, Sydney McCullough; Special Grandchildren: Ami White and Eric Dudley; Great Grandchildren: Kelly Buttrey, Camryn Buttrey, Brant Bell, Chase Ingram and Cain Ingram; Brother and Sister-in-law: Herbert and Pat Roper, Jonesboro; Several Nieces, Nephews and Cousins. Mrs. Thomas was a native of Rome, GA and lived most of her life in the metro Atlanta area. She was a member of North Gwinnett Baptist Church and formerly taught Acteens and was active in the WMU at First Baptist Church, Buford.
