The Gwinnett Football League held its season-ending championships Nov. 18. The GFL, the county's football feeder system, brought 17 associations from Brookwood to Grayson to Mill Creek to South Gwinnett with boys 6-years-old to eighth grade to play football to the championship, along with cheerleading squads for their team. This year Dacula was the champion in the 6-, 7-, 8- and 10-year-old age group while Brookwood won in the 9-year-old and eighth grade. Mountain Park, Buford and Collins Hill also took home the title in the 11-year-old, 12-year-old, and eighth grade Division II.
