Target employees report shoplifters
•DULUTH - Two Norcross women were arrested Monday after Target employees allegedly found them attempting to leave the store without paying for a number of baby items.
According to a police report, the two 20-year-old women tried to take nearly $200 worth of baby items from the store, concealing the items in strollers.
Jahaira J. Bueno of 1007 Chase Lane in Norcross and Alejandra Costavilla Gomez of 1810 Jerry Way in Norcross were released without warrants or probation.
Man abducted, robbed by 2 men
•LILBURN - A Stone Mountain man was walking home from work Monday when he was abducted and robbed by two men.
The victim told police he was walking along Ross Road in Lilburn when a black man, possibly in his mid-20s, armed with a gun, drove up in a white van, got out and demanded the victim get in the vehicle.
Once in the van the men covered the victim's face so he could not see them and demanded all his valuables.
The suspects took nearly $400, a driver's license, a Social Security card and several pay stubs from the victim.
The 47-year-old victim was locked in the van overnight and released by the armed suspects near Norris Lake Road in Snellville Tuesday.
