Dorothy Mitchell Caldwell, age 82, of Lilburn, went home to be with the Lord on November 12, 2006 after a long illness. She is survived by three children, Debbie Caldwell and Glen Hagood of Lilburn, Candie Caldwell Gissell of Lilburn, Cliff M. Caldwell of Stockbridge; a brother, Lewis L. Mitchell of Warner Robbins; 7 grandchildren, Leslie Duda, Genny Hathaway, Ben Hagood, Emily Hagood, Bradley Caldwell Gissell, Lauren Grace Gissell and Todd Caldwell Gissell; 2 great grandchildren, Katherine Duda and Andrew Hathaway. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Atlanta and was retired from Reed Drugs in 1990. Funeral services will be 11AM Wednesday, November 15, in the chapel of First Baptist Church of Atlanta, Rev. Varon Crosby officiating with interment Poplar Springs Baptist Church Cemetery in Hiram. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-8PM in the funeral home. Arrangements by Horis A. Ward-Stone Mountain Chapel, 1355 Rockbridge Rd. at Five Forks Trickum, 770-381-5722.
