WINDER - A man accused in an April slaying was sentenced to life in prison plus 20 years, according to court documents filed Wednesday.
Yonlenon Roblero-DeLeon was convicted in the April 7 shooting death of Servando Duron-Nieto at El Manatial Restaurant. He was also found guilty of aggravated assault, aggravated battery, reckless conduct, tampering with evidence and possession of a firearm during commission of a crime in the shooting of Almanida Murilla. Murilla, a patron at the restaurant, was struck in the head by a stray bullet. She survived the shooting. Roblero-DeLeon is Mexican by birth, but was living in the United States legally and speaks fluent English, said Lt. Dennis Dorsey of the Winder Police Department.More like this story
