Sarah Elizabeth Protsman

Mrs. Sarah Elizabeth Protsman, age 88 of Loganville, GA, formerly of Stone Mountain, died November 3, 2006. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Charles Robert (Bobby and Ruthie) Protsman of Conyers; grandchildren, Michael and Elizabeth Protsman of Lilburn, Melinda and Vaughan Brown of Conyers, David Protsman of Cleveland; great grandchildren, Alexa, Evan, Rebecca, Erica, Madison, Marshall, Joshua, Mason, Kobe, and Matthew; brother-in-law, Larry and Ann Bradley of Jersey, GA; several nieces & nephews. A homemaker most of her life, Mrs. Protsman was born in Monroe, GA on September 28, 1918 to Joseph Perington Mitchell and Annie Lee Cox Mitchell. She was married on October 4, 1936 to Charles Thomas “Tommy” Protsman. They were married for 63 years until his death on April 7, 2000. She encouraged her husband's hobbies of antique cars, Coca-Cola memorabilia, baseball cards and other items that filled the Stone Mountain Car and Treasure Museum at Stone Mountain Park. Mrs. Protsman was loved by everyone that met her and enjoyed so much her story tales of her past. She was a member of Snellville Church of Christ. She loved sewing, gardening and her greatest love were her family members. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Carrie Bradley. Funeral services will be held Monday, November 6, at 11am at Wages Snellville Chapel with Minister Harold Savage officiating. Interment at Eternal Hills Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Saturday from 4 until 7pm and Sunday from 3 until 6pm at the funeral home. Tom M.
