Woman robbed by men in parking lot

•LAWRENCEVILLE - Four men approached a Lawrenceville woman and demanded her belongings as she arrived at her apartment Sunday night.

According to a Gwinnett police report, the victim said one of the four men was armed with a large stick, ran to the driver's side door of her car and demanded she give him her purse.

A second man also came to her car and demanded the rest of the woman's belongings, including a second purse.

The victim complied with the men, giving them the items they wanted.

All four men fled the scene. The victim called police from a neighbor's house.

Police surveyed the area for evidence, only finding a pair of shoes that fell out of one of the bags taken.

Men steal $500 from seafood retailer

•LAWRENCEVILLE - Three men rushed into Lawrenceville Seafood on Cruse Road on Sunday evening, demanding money from the cashier.

According to a Gwinnett police report, the victim said the men were all wearing Halloween masks and were armed with semi-automatic pistols.

The men demanded the cashier give them all the money and ripped the cash register from the counter.

The robbers fled the restaurant on foot, running toward the Texaco station at the intersection of Cruse Road and Club Drive in Lawrenceville.

The cash register taken by the robbers contained about $500, the report said.

Two charged in fight at Duluth club

•DULUTH - Police arrested two men on charges of disorderly conduct at Wild Bill's in Duluth early Sunday morning.

Juan Ramos, 24, of Gainesville and Carlos Alex Lopez, 39, of Gainesville were found fighting near the back of the business by security guards, police said.

Part-time officers for the Gwinnett County Police Department working at the club were called to investigate the situation. Both men were arrested by police and taken to the Gwinnett County Detention Center. Both have made bail.
