Robert K. Hoyle, age 55, born March 16, 1951 of Lawrenceville was welcomed into his place in Heaven on Saturday, May 27 at 6:45 a.m. He fought a very courageous fight and held strong until the battle was won. He is survived by his loyal and loving wife of 30 years, Gail Hoyle. Two daughters and sons-in-laws, Kimberly and Kevin Friedel of Sugar Hill, Christina and Jason McDonald of Auburn; four grandchildren: Ashley Gail McDonald, Jaycee McDonald, Zachary Friedel and Mason Robert Friedel. He is also survived by his parents; Walter and Doris Hoyle of Lilburn; a sister and brother-in-law: Jeannie and Ken Mercier of Buford; two nephews: Jeremiah and Joshua Mercier along with numerous brothers and sister-in-laws, nieces and nephews. Robert was a cherished and dedicated husband, father, grandfather and friend. He loved nothing more than to see his wife, children and grandchildren experiencing joy. He was a loyal employee with 37 years of service for the Kroger Company, where he cherished the friendships that he had with many. He had an avid love for his family, friends, golf, travel, cars and history. He also was noted nationally for his volunteer efforts for many charities, including Egleston Children's Hospital and local schools. Robert had an amazing sense of humor. If he was able to bring laughter and the love of life into your life, his day was counted as successful. He will be truly missed by all of those who were fortunate enough to know him. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 30 at 2:00 p.m. at Wages Lawrenceville Chapel with Rev. Mike Day officiating. Interment will follow at Hamilton Mill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Monday from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
