Robert A. “Bob” Bailey, age 82 of Loganville, GA died May 25, 2006. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Bonnie Bailey; daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Norman Rogers of Cumming, daughter Kathy Grand and her partner, Joan Eaton of Loganville, daughter and son-in-law, Beth and Tommy McDonald of Mansfield, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Theron and Ernestine Batson of Rogers, Arkansas, son, Tim Layne of Bethlehem, GA; 12 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Mr. Bailey was retired from Bellsouth after 40 years of service, as a Plant Assigner. He was a US WW II Army D-Day Veteran, serving in the 82nd Airborne Division. A member of Grayson First Baptist Church and worked at Braxton's Antique Mall from 1992 until 1998 after his retirement because of his love for antiques. Funeral services will be held Sunday, May 28 at 2pm at Wages Snellville Chapel. Interment Eternal Hills Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Saturday from 6 until 9pm at the funeral home.
