Jack McKey Pressley, age 75, of Lawrenceville, died May 4, 2006. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Tuesday, May 9, 2006 at Glover Baptist Church, Burial will be in Hog Mountain Baptist Church Cemetery. He was an active deacon and Sunday School teacher at Glover Baptist Church, an Air Force veteran from the Korean Conflict, and an agent for TransAmerica Occidental Life Insurance Company for 40 years. Clayton Lenard Thomas (RET-LT) age 63 of Lawrenceville, went to be with the Lord May 6, 2006 after a courageous battle with brain cancer. Clayton is survived by: Wife: Wanda Cox Thomas, Lawrenceville; Daughter and Son-in-law: Wendy and Bruce Morgan, Commerce; Son and Daughter-in-law: Michael and Sheila Thomas, Winder; Grandchildren: Mesha Morgan, Maysville, Lindsay Morgan, Commerce, Janie Sykes, Lawrenceville, Summer and Logan Thomas, Winder; Great Grandchild: Hailey Beck, Maysville; Brother and Sister-in-law: Bobby and Brenda Thomas, Lilburn; Sister and Brother-in-law Linda and Sam McAllister, Dacula; Several nieces and nephews. Mr. Thomas was a 1962 graduate of Avondale High School. He worked for East Point Police Dept. from 1967 to 1982 and Fulton Co. Police Dept. from 1982 until he retired in 1999, Fulton County Reserves from 2002-2003, Gwinnett Medical Hospital Security Dept. 2004-2005. Mr. Thomas was a member of the Fraternal Order Police Lodge #64, Metro Atlanta Police Emerald Society, Peace Officers Association of Georgia. He wore his uniform with pride and dedicated his life to serving others. He was a member of the Mt. Vernon Baptist Church, Lawrenceville, where he served as a Deacon, Sunday School Superintendent, Assistant church clerk and Choir member. He always stood strong in his faith. Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Monday, May 8, 2006, at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church, Lawrenceville, with the remains placed instate at 1:30. Rev. Marty Cason, Rev. Hobert Thomas, and Rev.
