STATHAM - Statham police have arrested a woman who reportedly set fire to a trailer she owned.
Bogart resident Anita Dallas, 42, was charged with first-degree arson in connection with a Jan. 7 fire at the trailer at 462 McCarty Road. Statham Police Sgt. Thomas Hinson, spokesman for the department, said the trailer had fire damage to the living room and smoke damage throughout. It was vacant at the time of the fire. The Georgia Arson Control Board offered a $10,000 reward in the case, Hinson said. A tipster gave investigators from the Barrow County Fire and Emergency Services information that led them to Dallas. Hinson said additional charges against Dallas or others are possible as the investigation continues.More like this story
