Miller - Copponex

Lawrence and Terry Miller of Lawrenceville announce the engagement of their daughter, Rachel Elizabeth Miller, to Glen Gregory Copponex Jr., son of Glen and Mary Copponex of Suwanee.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Dahler and Mrs. and the late Mr. Bud Miller. She is a 2003 graduate of Central Gwinnett High School and is pursuing a bachelor's degree in business administration in criminal justice at North Georgia College and State University. She works part-time in the political science department at the university.

The future groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Clarke and Mrs. and the late George Hackney. He is a 2002 graduate of Duluth High School and is a full-time student pursuing a bachelor's degree in business administration in finance at North Georgia College and State University.

The wedding is planned for Oct. 7 at the Big Canoe Chapel in Jasper.

Perkins - Jones

Mr. and Mrs. Sammie L. Steinman of Suwanee announce the engagement of their daughter, Tonya S. Perkins, to Wallace B. Jones, son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael P. Jones of Conyers.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Rosa Steinman Jones of Illinois and Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Karcher of Illinois. The bride-elect earned her bachelor's degree in special and elementary education from Union University. She is employed as a kindergarten teacher at Harmony Elementary School in Gwinnett County.

The future groom is the grandson of Frankie H. Jones and the late J. Paul Jones of Matthews, and the late Richard W. Balfour and the late Dorothy Balfour Rose of Franklin, Va. He is the step-grandson of G. Roy Rose of Conyers. He is a 1992 graduate of Rockdale County High School and earned a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He is employed as a consultant with Booz, Allen & Hamilton in Atlanta.

The wedding is planned for Saturday.

Hunt - Eubanks

Mr. and Mrs. Wesley J. Hunt of Greensboro announce the engagement of their daughter, Allison Marie Hunt of Lawrenceville, to Chad Thomas Eubanks, son of Mr. and Mrs. Johnny W. Eubanks of Commerce.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. V.F. Bass of Chattanooga, Tenn., Mr. and Mrs. Robert Jenkins of Tucker and the late Mr. Eugene Hunt of Covington. She is a 1999 graduate of South Gwinnett High School and a 2003 graduate of the University of Georgia, where she received a bachelor's degree in journalism specializing in advertising. She is employed as an account manager at Coverdell in Atlanta.

The groom is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ralph White and the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Eubanks, all of Commerce. He is a 1997 graduate of Commerce High School, a 2002 graduate of Georgia College and State University, where he received a bachelor's degree in business administration. He is a 2003 graduate of Gupton Jones College of Funeral Service. He is employed as the funeral director at Bill Head Funeral Home's Duluth chapel.

The wedding is set for May 20 at First United Methodist Church in Greensboro.

Jollay - Gray

Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Leonard Jollay of Lilburn announce the engagement of their daughter, Lauren Amelia Jollay, to Mark Allen Gray, son of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Ray Gray of Easley, S.C.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Lemuel Arthur Tolleson Jr. and the late Mr. Tolleson of Tallapoosa, Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Lloyd Jollay and the late Margaret O. Jollay of Atlanta. She is a graduate of Parkview High School and a cum laude graduate of the University of Georgia, where she received her bachelor's degree in journalism with an emphasis in public relations. She was a member of Alpha Delta Pi sorority. She is employed as the marketing and office manager for an orthodontic practice.

The future groom is the grandson of Mrs. Barney Benjamin Baisden and the late Mr. Baisden of Lakeland and the late Mr. and Mrs. Romulus Ralph Gray of Valdosta. He is a graduate of Easley High School in Easley, S.C., and received a bachelor's degree in biochemistry and molecular biology from the University of Georgia. He earned his doctorate of dental medicine from the Medical University of South Carolina and received a certificate of orthodontics from the Medical College of Georgia. He owns an orthodontic practice in Snellville.

The wedding is planned for June at Smoke Rise Baptist Church in Stone Mountain.

Hammock - Hoecker

Bill and Janet Hammock of Hoschton announce the engagement of their daughter, Aimee Starr Hammock, to Nicholas Andrew Hoecker, son of Steve and Debbie Hoecker of Duluth.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Boyce and Mavis Starr of Opelika, Ala., and Liddie Mae and the late Fred Hammock of Auburn, Ala. She is a 1998 graduate of Brookwood High School and a 2002 graduate of the University of Georgia. She is employed as a graphic designer with Gwinnett Center in Duluth.

The future groom is the grandson of Tom and Fran Rankin of Crescent City, Calif. and Willie and Sue Jones of Laurens, S.C. He is a 1997 graduate of Collins Hill High School and attended Georgia Perimeter College. He is employed by Tapps Inc. in Suwanee.

The wedding is set for Aug. 12 at the Bona Allen Mansion in Buford.

Tatum - Gallagher

Darcey and Carole Tatum of Lawrenceville announce the engagement of their daughter, Elizabeth Kaleen Tatum, to Brendan Robert Gallagher, son of Kathleen Rahal and Daniel Gallagher of Maryland.

The bride-elect is a 2000 graduate of Collins Hill High School and a 2004 graduate of Georgia College and State University. She is employed with Gwinnett County Public Schools as a second-grade teacher.

The future groom is a 1996 graduate of Glenelg High School and a 2004 graduate of Johns Hopkins University. He is a captain in the United States Army.

The wedding is planned for June 3 at St. Edwards Episcopal Church in Lawrenceville. A reception will follow at Hamilton Mill Country Club. The couple will reside in Harker Heights, Texas.
