SUWANEE - Two men searching for a lost dog Saturday instead found a dead body in the woods.
Suwanee police Lt. Dan Clark said the man, whose body was found off Gwinco Boulevard, was between 40 and 50 years old. He had not been identified as of Saturday evening. The two men found the body about 5:45 p.m. in a field with 10-foot pine trees, Clark said. It had begun to decompose. Clark said a gun had been found near the body, and he said it was an apparent suicide. There are no missing person's cases open in Suwanee, Clark said.More like this story
