Woman charged with disorderly conduct
•NORCROSS - An intoxicated woman was arrested Tuesday after she allegedly tried to fall asleep on a counter at QuikTrip at 5255 Peachtree Parkway.
A clerk told police that a woman later identified as 26-year-old Jamie Jones came into the store about 12:30 a.m. and went into the bathroom for half an hour. When she emerged, Jones' pants were around her ankles and she was wearing no undergarments.
She proceeded to walk toward the teapots, knocked one to the ground and then sat on the counter, according to a police report.
The clerk asked Jones if there was anyone he could call to come pick her up, but she allegedly refused. She then put her pants back on, hopped back onto the counter and attempted to sleep, the police report stated.
Jones admitted to a responding officer that she had consumed a few drinks earlier in the evening. She was charged with disorderly conduct.
Man charged with discharging firearm in a public place
•LILBURN - A man was arrested Sunday for allegedly shooting a gun outside Blue Moose Tavern at 4975 Stone Mountain Highway.
Patrons and employees at the tavern told police that a man had just brought two guns into the bar with him. When man was asked to leave, he went outside and then gunshots were heard.
Police arrived to find 22-year-old Jonathan Harper Livsey of Snellville and his friend, 23-year-old Drew Elliot Page of Grayson, leaving in separate cars. Both men were detained and questioned. Livsey was charged with carrying a deadly weapon in a public gathering and discharging a firearm while under the influence.
Page, the suspected owner of the guns, was charged with having a concealed weapon and illegal possession of a prescription drug.
