Mr. Jesse P. “Pa” Lord, age 89, of Buford, GA, passed away on Tuesday, March 21, 2006. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Sarah Heard Lord; daughter, Betty Ann Ryder; sons, Jerry J. Lord and Jacky R. Lord. He is survived by his: Daughters and Sons-in-Law: Charlotte and Kenneth Allen, Sugar Hill, GA, Cindy and Keith Pass, Flowery Branch, GA; Son and Daughter-in-Law: Tony and Darlena Lord, Hoschton, GA; Daughter-in-Law: Juanita Lord, Lawrenceville, GA; 8 Grandchildren; 21 Great Grandchildren; 8 Great Great Grandchildren; Several nieces, nephews and cousins. Mr. Lord was born in Jackson County, GA on July 28, 1916. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served in World War II. He was retired from Lockheed in Marietta, GA. He was a well know appliance repairman in the Buford area. He was a member of the Buford Masonic Lodge #292 F & AM and a member of the Yaarab Shrine Temple in Atlanta, GA. He was a member of the Shoal Creek Baptist Church in Buford, GA. Funeral service will be held on Friday, March 24, 2006 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Edmundson officiating. Interment in Broadlawn Memorial Gardens, Buford, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Arrangements by Junior E.
