The global outreach group Sisters in Service recently relocated its international headquarters to Norcross. The group's founder and president, Michele Rickett, is a Georgia native who coauthored the book "Daughters of Hope," which told first-hand stories of missionaries.

The nonprofit group helps mobilize and equip U.S. advocates to make a difference overseas, focusing on issues including spiritual life, health, education, economic development and leadership development for women. The group works in China, India, Iraq, Sudan, Mali and Indonesia.

Local chapters of Sisters in Service, located throughout the United States, help fund the group's mission projects.

The group is looking for volunteers for such positions as receptionist, representation, area directors and grant writers. Send inquiries to Karen Rogers, Director of Operations, at krogers@sistersinservice.org. Visit www.sistersinservice.org for more information.
