Prep Roundup Late rally propels North past North Forsyth

SUWANEE - Ty Goodbar hit a two-run double with the bases loaded and then Mike Peters followed to single in a run in the bottom of the fifth inning to put away North Forsyth 4-1 on Wednesday.

Peters also started his first game of the year pitching five strong innings, striking out six and allowing only three hits for the Bulldogs (7-0).

John Crowe struck out the side in the sixth earning the save for North.


Norcross 11,

Winder-Barrow 0

WINDER - Behind the strong pitching of Tyler Collins, Norcross rolled past Winder-Barrow 11-0 on Wednesday.

Collins pitched a complete game shutout striking out six batters.

Darius Hanks was 2-for-3 with a double and two RBIs and Tyler Smith hit a deep home run in the fifth inning for the Blue Devils (6-1).

Johnny Curry also had a solid night for Norcross, going 1-for-2 with a double.

NORCROSS - Christian Calsade had three goals and two assists as Meadowcreek rolled past Dutchtown 10-0 on Wednesday.

BUFORD - Abel Martinez and Misael Martinez both scored a goal apiece to lead Buford past Johnson-Gainesville 2-1 on Wednesday.

Peatross helps Parkview slip past Brookwood

SNELLVILLE - Jenna Peatross shot a 44 to lead Parkview past rival Brookwood 92-95 on Wednesday.
