Armstrong - Horsley
Anna Elizabeth Armstrong and Adam Dean Horsley were married on Jan. 7 at First Baptist Church in Newnan. The Rev. James E. Armstrong and the Rev. Carter Shelton officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James L. Armstrong of Lawrenceville. She is a 2001 graduate of Central Gwinnett High School and a 2005 graduate of Jacksonville State University, where she received a bachelor's degree in physical education and health. She is working with Baptist Campus Ministries on the UNLV campus in Las Vegas as a short-term missionary and is also working in a local church. In the fall, she will live and work in the New Orleans area while her husband attends seminary.
The groom is the son of Dean Horsley of Pinson, Ala., and Jolene Broom of Snead, Ala. He is a graduate of Locust Fork High School and a 2004 graduate of Jacksonville State University. He is serving as a short-term missionary with Baptist Campus Ministries on the UNLV campus and as an intern with a church in the Las Vegas area. He will continue his education at New Orleans Baptist Seminary in the fall.
Nan Machen of Dacula served as the bride's maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Rachel Countryman of Jacksonville, Ala.; Melanie Dickenson of Locust Grove; Serra Lowe of Hueytown, Ala.; Katie Fowler of Lawrenceville; Heather Harper of Lawrenceville; and Amy Peterson of Lawrenceville.
Nathan Love of Trafford, Ala., served as the groom's best man.
Groomsmen were David Trucks of Birmingham, Ala.; Sam Hallman of Odenville, Ala.; Huck Camp of Trafford, Ala.; Brad Deaver of Cleveland, Ala.; Randy Cater of Remlap, Ala.; and Seth King of Birmingham, Ala.
After their honeymoon in Gatlinburg, Tenn., the couple now resides in Las Vegas.
