Deborah Lee Walker, 23, a senior at Valdosta State University, passed away unexpectedly in Valdosta, Georgia on Monday, February 27 in an automobile accident. Lee was predeceased by two uncles, William Stokes Walker of Destin, Florida, and Bradley Stuart Beller of Johnson City, Tennessee. She is survived by her devoted parents, John and Julie Walker of Atlanta; and her beloved brother and sister-in-law, Brian and Robin Walker of Statesboro, Georgia. Also grieving her untimely loss are grandparents, Dr. Ronald E. and Judith C. Beller of Richmond, and Neel and Elizabeth Walker of Destin, Florida. Lee also leaves behind a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins who adored her. They include, Ann Walker of Princeton, NJ, Tom Walker of Destin, FL, Susan, Bruce, Cory, Brett, and Erika Wilson of Crawfordsville, FL, Debbie, Russ, Claiborne and Merritt Willis of Nashville, TN, Michael, Lee Anne and Sarah Holdren of Richmond, VA, Jim Beller of Rogersville, TN, Bunny, Dennis, and Dennis, Jr. Smith of Timberlake, NC, Ron and Ann Beller of Winston-Salem, NC, Bronwyn Jones of Albuquerque, NM, Brodie Walker of Costa Rica and Ann Walker of Albuquerque, NM. Our beautiful, exuberant Lee is gone and an unbearable sadness remains. The family will receive friends on Friday, March 3 from 2-4PM and again from 6-9PM. Interment will follow at 4PM in Hendersonville, NC at Sheppard Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Directions will be available at both receptions and the service.
