Mrs. Jimmie Nell Kellett Campbell, age 71, beloved wife of Reverend Cecil Campbell, of 126 Landau Lane, was promoted into Heaven on Saturday, June 24, 2006. Born in Trion, Georgia on December 21, 1934, Mrs. Campbell was the daughter of the late Reverend John J. Kellett and Lela Adeline Brown Kellett. She was a graduate of Summerville High School in Summerville, GA. She worked along side her husband of fifty-three years in his ministries in Americus, GA, Union City, GA, Hartwell, GA, Denver, CO, Madison, GA, Atlanta, GA and Stone Mountain, GA and during his years as State Overseer in Hawaii and Oklahoma. They served in Senior Adult Ministries in Buford, GA and Anderson, SC. She was a member of High Praises Church of God. Surviving are her husband, Reverend Cecil Campbell of the home; son, Ron Campbell and his wife, Peggy of Roswell, GA; daughters, Didi Humphries of Anderson, SC and Gina Stephens of Gastonia, NC; 5 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren. The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, June 27, 2006 at 11:00 am at High Praises Church of God officiated by the Reverends Chris Sustar, George Stephens, David Jarvis and Dr. Stonie Abercrombie. Entombment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum in Anderson. The family will be at the residence. Mr. James Bentley (J.B.) Medlin, Sr., age 74 of Cumming, died Sunday, June 25, 2006. He was a member of Roanoke Baptist Church, A veteran of the US Navy, serving as a Gunners Mate 2nd Class during the Korean War. He was owner of J.B.'s Grocery Store on Buford Dam Rd. for 20 years. Survivors include: Wife of 51 years, Mildred Carroll Medlin, Cumming; Children, James Bentley, Jr. and Nancy Medlin, Marshall Wayne Medlin, all of Cumming; Grandson, Dennis and Christine Jenovese, Norcross; Step Grandchildren, Chad Gilbert, Erika Gilbert; Sister-in-law, Grace Mayers, Commerce; and other relatives also survive. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 28, 2006 at 11 AM at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ruel Martin, Rev. Clark Watson and Rev. Carlton Coker officiating.
