Williams - Hendrix

Ken and Cindy Williams of Dacula announce the engagement of their daughter, Andrea Elizabeth Williams of Dacula, to Ryan Stansell Hendrix of Lilburn, son of Nick and Delores Hendrix of Lilburn.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Frances Walls McGraw of Newnan and John and Fay Williams and the late Florence Williams of Roswell. She is a 1998 graduate of Central Gwinnett High School, a 2002 graduate of Georgia College and State University and a 2006 graduate of Georgia Baptist College of Nursing at Mercer University in Atlanta, where she received a bachelor's degree in nursing. She is employed by St. Mary's Health Care System in Athens.

The future groom is the grandson of Rayford and Pauline Knight and the late Annie Mae Knight of Alexander City, Ala., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Roy Hendrix of Chelsea, Ala. He is a 1997 graduate of Parkview High School and a 2002 graduate of Georgia College and State University. He is employed by RBC Centura Bank in Dacula.

The wedding is planned for Aug. 12 at First United Methodist Church of Lawrenceville.

Slocum - Shelnutt

Louis and Jana Slocum of Lilburn announce the engagement of their daughter, Laura Vivian Slocum of Lilburn, to Frank Bradley Shelnutt of Lawrenceville, son of Bobby and Jeanette Shelnutt of Lawrenceville.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mary Buford and the late William Buford of Alpharetta and Vivian Slocum and the late Robert W. Slocum of Avondale Estates. She is a 2002 graduate of Parkview High School and a 2006 magna cum laude graduate of Auburn University, where she received a bachelor's degree in early childhood education. She is employed by Gwinnett County Schools where she will teach first grade this fall at Cooper Elementary.

The future groom is the grandson of Margie Shelton and the late Charlie Shelton of Grayson and the late Ann and John Shelnutt of Lawrenceville. He is a 1995 graduate of Central Gwinnett High School and a 2000 graduate of Valdosta State University, where he received a bachelor's degree in physical education. In 2001, he received a master's degree in physical education from Florida State University. He is employed by Gwinnett County Schools as a physical education teacher and the basketball coach at Hull Middle School.

The wedding is planned for July 15 at Chota Falls in Clayton.

Cloutier - Miller

Gail and Greg Cloutier of Lawrenceville announce the engagement of their daughter, Elizabeth Dion Cloutier of Lawrenceville, to Samuel Vincent Miller of Lawrenceville, son of Jeff and Julie Miller of Lawrenceville.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Elizabeth Yount and the late Robert Yount of Vero Beach, Fla., and Mr. and Mrs. George Cloutier of Sun City, Fla. She is a 2006 graduate of the University of Georgia. She is employed by Gwinnett County Schools at McConnell Middle School as a teacher.

The future groom is the grandson of Kathleen Ryan and the late Thomas Ryan of Fort Thomas, Ky., and Lydia Miller and the late Donald Miller of Fort Mitchell, Ky. He is employed by Greenwood Homes as a superintendent.

The wedding is planned for July 1 at St. Marguerite D' Youville Catholic Church.

Rawlins - Ballard

The future groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Dial of Oxford. He also attends DeKalb Tech and is employed by G. Laycock Inc. as a superintendent.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. David H. McFarland and the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles O. Hachat, all of Atlanta. She is a 1999 graduate of Shiloh High School. She is a 2003 summa cum laude graduate of the University of Georgia, where she received a bachelor's degree in marketing. She is employed as a meeting and event coordinator.

The future groom is the grandson of Katherine J. Livsey and the late Robert B. Livsey of Loganville and Mr. and Mrs. Ralph E. Barrett of Madison. He is a 1999 graduate of Brookwood High School and a 2003 graduate of the University of Georgia, where he received a bachelor's degree in consumer economics. He is employed by Pulte Homes as a senior customer relations manager.

The wedding was planned for Saturday at Snellville United Methodist Church.
