LAWRENCEVILLE - Police have arrested a second suspect in connection with a home invasion robbery earlier this week at a Norcross apartment complex.
Nelson Delguidice Jr., 24, of New York City, faces charges of aggravated assault, kidnapping and false imprisonment. He was arrested Wednesday, a day after he and several other suspects allegedly forced entry to a Champion Park apartment off Graves Road in Norcross. During the robbery attempt, Delguidice and several others tied one woman's hands behind her back and threatened her with a gun, according to an arrest warrant. Police have not released any information about the names of victims, how many victims there were, or what the intruders were looking for inside the apartment. All the suspects fled when police officers arrived to investigate the incident, said Cpl. Darren Moloney, spokesman for the Gwinnett County Police Department. One of the victims suffered a minor injury and was treated and released from a local hospital. Rodolfo Jimenez Peralta, 31, of New York City, was captured following a brief foot chase. He was charged with aggravated assault, kidnapping and false imprisonment. Peralta's statements during a police interview Tuesday led investigators to Delguidice, who was arrested at an extended-stay motel in Norcross. Detectives requested jail booking photos of Delguidice and Peralta not be published while the investigation is active, Moloney said.More like this story
