Thomas Lawrence Stoddard, age 58 of Lawrenceville, GA, formerly of North East, PA, died Tuesday, June 20th, from Lou Gehrigs Disease, also known as ALS. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Jo Ann Stoddard; Son, Christopher Thomas Stoddard; Brothers, Paul Stoddard, San Diego, CA; Brothers and Sisters-in-law, Art and Judy Stoddard of Erie, PA, Ken and Donna Stoddard of Westfield, NY; Sisters and brothers-in-law, Sarah and Clarence Erickson of Brocton, NY, Nora and Ed Burnham of Findley Lake, NY; Several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Mr. Stoddard, a 1966 graduate of Sherman High School in Sherman, NY, served in the US Air Force 1966-1970 with tours in Alaska and Homestead AFB. His 22 year Career as an Architect has touched many lives. He was architect on site for the Gwinnett County Justice Administration Center and owner of Architects Designs. He was an avid antique car enthusiast, member of the Dixie Drifters Pre-1948 Car Club in Sugar Hill, GA with personal hands-on restorations. Also a member of the American Dream Corvette Club in Snellville, GA. He was a shadow parent for St. John Neumann Regional Catholic School for the Field of Architecture. He was a devoted Husband, Father, and son-in-law to Mary Krehely, Jo Ann's Mom. Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, Lynn and Virginia Stoddard, sister, Gladys Bennink, and several aunts and uncles. Funeral Mass will be held at St. John Neumann on Friday, June 23, 2006 at 11:00 AM. The family will receive friends Thursday, June 22, 2006 from 6PM to 8PM at the Wages & Sons Gwinnett Chapel Funeral Home, 1031 Lawrenceville Hwy., Rt. 29, Lawrenceville, GA.
