Mr. Jeff H. Cantrell, age 41, of Buford, GA, passed away on Saturday, June 10, 2006. He is survived by his: Daughter and Son-in-Law: Tabitha and Anthony Whiting, Buford, GA; Son: Joshua Cantrell, Villa Rica, GA; Parents: Hugh and Betty Cantrell, Buford, GA; Sister and Brother-in-Law: DeeDee and Berry Parker, Buford, GA; Grandmother: Mrs. Mozelle Morrison Free, Cornelia, GA; Nephew: Chase Parker; Several Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. Mr. Cantrell was born on August 20, 1964 in Dekalb County, GA. He graduated from North Gwinnett High School, Class of 1982. He was a carpenter of trim work in residential construction. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Flowery Branch. Graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 14, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens, Buford, GA with Dr. Jim Ferguson officiating. Sherry A. McGeady, age 59, of Snellville, GA, formerly of Lawrenceville, died June 10, 2006. She is survived by: Husband: John E. Ruth T. Greenlee Betts, age 78 of Stone Mountain, GA, died Saturday afternoon, June 10, 2006 at Budd Terrace Hospice Center after a massive stroke in January. Mrs. Betts was born November 15, 1927 in Savannah GA, the eldest daughter of the later Aaron (Ernest) Todd, born in Murphreesboro, TN and Mary Jane Todd, born in Girard, AL. Mrs. Betts retired as Vice President of Investor Accounts at Mortgage First Bank in Atlanta. Mrs. Betts is preceded in death by her husband, C. Weyman Betts and survived by her ex-husband, Everett C. Greenlee, Montgomery, AL; children, David A. Greenlee, Snellville, GA, Steven D. Greenlee, Decatur, AL, Susan A. Najour, Atlanta, GA, Jeffrey N. Greenlee, Longmont, CO, Jon M. Greenlee Sr., Lawrenceville, GA; grandchildren, Angela Jackson, Todd, Matthew and Jill Greenlee, Mary Najour, Jonathan, Alicia and Jennifer Greenlee; great grandchildren, Tori and Amanda Jackson; and an aunt, Macie Slayton of Columbus, GA; and two brothers, Ramon Todd of Florida and Glenn Todd of Georgia. Ruth will be remembered by her family and friends for her love of and pride in her family, her passion for genealogy research/history, spiritual faith, and her love of animals.
