NORCROSS - City officials made an offer to hire Warren A. Hutmacher as Norcross' first city administrator on Monday. Hutmacher has been the city manager in Avondale Estates since 2003.
"He's young, and he's very sharp," said Norcross city clerk Susan Brooks. Norcross has deliberated over whether to switch to a city manager form of government for some time. City leaders decided that having a city administrator would streamline many processes in the day-to-day businesses of the city.More like this story
