•LAWRENCEVILLE - Three men on Tuesday robbed CVS Pharmacy at 5710 Sugarloaf Parkway, according to a police report.
One man armed with a black pistol first approached a clerk who was standing in an aisle and reportedly demanded that she "give him the money." He then pushed the women toward the cash registers and held a gun to her head while she opened it, the police report said.
All the employees were ordered to lie on the ground. During the robbery, a second man stood on the other side of the counter and a third man waited outside the store as a lookout.
The suspects were all black men - one described as 5 feet 9 inches tall and 140 pounds, another was 5 feet 10 inches tall and 160 pounds and the third man was 5 feet 2 inches tall and 125 pounds.
Six gunshots fired into house
•NORCROSS - Suspected gang members carried out a drive-by shooting Tuesday at a house on Williamsburg Drive.
A resident heard six gunshots at 9:25 p.m. right before the exterior of his house was pierced by bullets. The man's wife and two children were also home at the time, according to a police report.
The resident told police his 16-year-old son began experiencing problems with gangs last year at school because he refused to join one. The boy was "constantly ridiculed by gang members," the father reportedly said, so he withdrew from school and began painting fulltime with his father's business.
In addition to the drive-by shooting, the victim's fence had also been spray painted numerous times with gang graffiti, the police report said. There were no listed suspects.
