Sealed proposals will be received by the Buford City Commission, 2300 Buford Highway, Buford, Georgia, 30518 until 10:00 a.m. local time on Monday, June 5, 2006 at which time and place the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud for furnishing all labor, materials, equipment and all things necessary for construction of the proposed Sudderth Road Improvements including, but not limited to, roadway construction, utility installation/relocation, installation of landscaping facilities and installation of drainage system. Bids received after 10:00 p.m. will not be accepted. Bids must be submitted in duplicate in a sealed envelope of sufficient size with the following clearly typed or printed on the outside: "Bids for Sudderth Road Improvements", Date and Hour of Opening, and Submitting Company Name.

Work must begin within ten (10) calendar days from receipt of Notice to Proceed, and work must be completed within six (6) months of the Notice to Proceed. Contractors must be qualified by the State Department of Transportation and must have a Certificate of Qualification in accordance with the Rules and Regulations approved and adopted by the State Transportation Board.

A five percent (5%) bid bond must be submitted with the bid. Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners is soliciting sealed bids from qualified contractors to provide all labor, equipment and materials for Construction of Bethany Church Road Sidewalk, School Safety Project No. F-0075 (4411) for the Gwinnett County Department of Transportation.

Bids will be received at the Gwinnett County Purchasing Office, Third Floor, 75 Langley Drive, Lawrenceville, Georgia 30045-6900, no later than 2:50 P.M. local time Thursday, June 15, 2006 . Bids received after 2:50 P.M. will not be accepted. Bids will be publicly opened and read at 3:00 P.M. Creative Enterprises, Inc. is accepting sealed bids from qualified sub contractors only for the construction of Phase II Day Rehabilitation Center Addition. Bids will be accepted for any or all parts of Division 3 thru Division 16. Funding for the project will be through the Community Development Block Grant program. The award will be made to the low, responsive, responsible bidders on an evaluated bid basis. After bids are opened, they shall be evaluated in accordance with the methods and criteria set forth in the bidding documents. Creative Enterprises, Inc., Reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all bids, to evaluate bids, and to accept any bid which in its opinion may be for its best interest. The award of the bid is predicated upon Creative Enterprises, Inc. available funds.

Each proposal of bid must be accompanied by a cashier's check on a duly organized bank made payable to Creative Enterprises, Inc., or a bidding bond executed by the bidder and a surety company authorized to transact business in the State of Georgia, in the sum of not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid. Said check or bond will be returned to the unsuccessful bidders as soon as the contract has been awarded, and to the successful bidder as soon as he has executed the contract and furnished the necessary bonds, and same have been approved by the City and the Contract has been executed by the City.

Bidders are required to have and provide documentation of the following: Certificate of Liability with limits of 1 million dollars and workers compensation with limits of $500,000.00.

The successful bidder or bidders for these contracts will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bond in the full amount (100%) of the bid or proposal for each contract.
