Three men rob clothing store in Winder

WINDER - Police are searching for three men who robbed a clothing store Wednesday, tying up a clerk and brandishing a gun.

Lt. Dennis Dorsey, spokesman for the Winder Police Department, said police believe three black men robbed the Hip-Hop Fashions clothing store on May Street about 1:30 p.m. Wednesday.

One of the robbers occupied the clerk while two others browsed through the store, Dorsey said. At one point, the man with the clerk brandished a gun.

The clerk was bound while the robbers took an undetermined amount of clothes, cash and jewelry from the store. Dorsey said the clerk was uninjured.

The robbers were gone by the time police arrived, and Dorsey said what vehicle they fled in and the direction they went were both unknown. Police have no suspects but are investigating the crime scene, he said.
